Corryvrechan regularly represents the UK at international festivals through the CIOFF organisation.
Our plans for 2012 are well under way - in addition to our usual appearances at Burns Nights and Ceilidhs, we are honoured to have been invited back to Billingham Festival in August.
We are proud to have held two full concerts “Strictly Scottish” held in 2011 and “A Scottish Spectacular" in 2009. Both proved to be a huge success with ‘sold out’ performances and very enthusiastic reports appearing subsequently in the local press.
The team also takes part in folk festivals closer to home and, from time to time, enters competitive festivals. In 2010, we were delighted to win 3rd place in the Choreographed Folk Competition of the prestigious Llangollen International Musical Eisteddford.
